This workshop will focus upon Hung Ga's Ten Killing Hands. This is one of the special teachings hidden in Hung Ga's Signature set Fu hok Seurng Ying Kuen (Tiger and Crane Double Fist Form) In fact, the, Hung system's strength is in the tiger/crane techniques, the twelve bridges, horse stance and Wong Fei Hung's secret "Sup Juet Sao" or 10 Killing Hands. Because of their dangerous nature, these techniques were originally taught only to" in the door" disciples.

Tuina Structural Disorders Series

These workshops will teach the treatment methods and protocols for Structural Disorders as addressed by Tuina-Chinese Bodywork Therapy. You will learn powerful hand techniques and Qi Gong Methods as well as treatment theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and have an overview of Western Scientific Principles of treatment. Qi Gong methods for self-care will also be addressed. These workshops are good for Acupuncturists, Herbologists, Massage Therapists, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Energetic workers, Chiropractors, Martial Artists or anyone wishing to explore healing methods.

Tuina Chinese Bodywork Therapy for Cervical Disorders

This workshop will focus on Tuina methods and protocols for stiff neck, cervical sprain-strain, Whiplash as well as stress related tension and headaches. Qi gong methods for the practitioners own health as well as strengthening methods will be taught.

Wong Fei Hung Tournament:

Yee Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association presents the 2008 Wong Fei Hung North Eastern All Kung Fu Championships. The Tournament will be held on Saturday September 13th, 2008 at St. Peter's College in New Jersey.

Junior Test this Month:

As per Sifu, all students traveling to Clifton New Jersey for the Yat Cup and Yee Cup Tests this month must be present on Wednesday night's class for final approval of your form. Junior Tests will be conducted at the Clifton Headquarters branch Saturday Morning January 12th @ 12:30pm. Master Yee Chi Wai will be conducting a Seminar at 3pm that you won't want to miss.

Disclaimer for the Masses:

Based on the majority of recent inquiries, the general public in south florida either has no idea, or is greatly misinformed as to what Kung Fu is. We will not attempt to enlighten the masses, but here is a quick reference guide for those interested:

There are many places that advertise Kung Fu, but some only specialize in teaching a modified kickboxing.  Other places will teach combinations of different disciplines such as Japanese, Thai, Brazilian, Chinese, Israeli, Korean, etc, in bits-n-pieces.   If you are only interested in training Kung Fu ...these are not the schools for you.

There are many different styles of Kung Fu and each one has its own strengths.  Under qualified instruction, each style can be trained effectively, but the truth is there are only a handful of quality schools in the entire country.  If you don't want to waste your time, do some research first, find a Kung Fu style that interests you, then look for a qualified and highly recommended school that offers it.   One way to determine a knowledgeable instructor is by asking intelligent questions based on your research.  Be aware of misinformation on the Internet, as it is an unregulated source (which means anyone can post anything).

At the Yee's Hung Ga South Florida Kung Fu branch, we only train Southern Chinese Traditional Hung Ga.  We come from a well-respected, no-nonsense school, under Master Pedro Cepero Yee and Grandmaster Yee Chi Wai.  Yee's Hung Ga International Kung Fu Association's skills, knowledge, and credentials are recognized throughout the world because we have been demonstrating it for decades.  It's not just something stated on a website. 

Yee's Hung Ga instructors are competent, and the title of "Sifu" is not given out lightly.  If this means nothing to you, please do not waste our time.  We prefer quality, not quantity for our system.
